On October 25, PAIH EXPO hosted the 1st Polish Business Support Forum Abroad in Warsaw at the “PGE Narodowy” National Stadium. The event was organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in partnership with PKO Bank Polski, PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego

The event was ceremonially opened by Mrs. Jadwiga Emilewicz - Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology, Mr. Tomasz Pisula - President of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and Mr. Wojciech Fedko - member of the Management Board of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

The event gathered 6,000 entrepreneurs from all over Poland. At the stands, several dozens of PAIH Foreign Bureaus and regional companies and organizations from Poland and abroad presented their portfolios.

Event organizers provided 12 geographical pavilions, where intensive workshops took place throughout the day. It was conducted by 54 heads of PAIH Foreign Trade Offices including ZBH Toronto manager Mr. Zack Labieniec. Polish companies had a unique opportunity to obtain information and practical tips on the specifics of the Canadian market, seek knowledge about the CETA free trade agreement and learn how to start or expand or strengthen their operations in Canada.

Participants of the event could also visit the Investment Pavilion and meet with investors who have chosen Poland for their business development. PAIH guests took part in debates on the strengths of Poland in the face of the e-mobility revolution in the automotive industry, the country's position on the map of R & D, financial and BSS services, or discuss innovations in the energy sector in Poland.

PAIH Expo 2018 - The 1st Polish Business Support Forum Abroad ended the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the Port of Gdynia Maritime Administration.
