SEEDiA mission is to create projects for "smart cities" of modern and innovative utility objects of urban small architecture, which are powered by solar energy. SEEDiA solar benches have built-in solar panels, thanks to which they draw energy from sunlight and can give it back in the form of charging mobile devices and serve as Wi-Fi hotspots. Solar benches, bus stops, info kiosks and smart trash bins produced by SEEDiA allow residents to use induction and USB chargers free of charge as well as timetables on e-paper displays. Thanks to the use of renewable energy sources, they contribute to a decrease in the demand for electricity and thus CO2 emissions.
Thanks to Infranovate Inc. Mark Salsberg first SEEDiA solar benches were recently installed in the Brens North America design King Street temporary space.
The company, in May this year, successfully presented its offer at OCE Discovery, one of the largest Canadian conferences combining innovative entrepreneurs with companies and government and local government administration. SEEDiA also participated in events promoting the potential of startups, including numerous meetings with organizations of legal and business advisors as well as visits of Canadian innovation centers. All the above-mentioned events were organized by the Foreign Trade Office (ZBH) and the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Toronto and with the help of the General Consulates of the Visegrad Group countries - V4 (Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia) as well as the CzechInvest team.
In addition, ZBH Toronto supported SEEDiA in its contacts with the Canadian side and the company's visit to Toronto. This is another success of the innovative product of the Polish company, which arose in Canada after the CETA agreement came into effect.
We are proud to continue supporting such a great entrepreneurial group of individuals and look forward to more benches making their home in Toronto and Canada.
